Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe was born in South London, England into an ethnically diverse family. Her father is Nigerian as well as Swiss and the mother of her is English. She was raised on a council estate in the south of London. In the ages of 14, she attended The Brit School. She pursued acting studies at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. She was a part of various performances on stage during her time at school, including the King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe launched her acting career through the movie Storm Damage. Since then, she has been a guest star for Teachers, Doctors, Casualty as well as Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's film debut was in Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), opposite Colin Farrell. The following year she portrayed Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she was a part of Trexx as Ollie and in six episodes of Flipside. Madekwe played Bambi in The ITV2 drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was also a part of the comedy of 2008 How to Alienate and Lose Friends. Her credits in theatre comprise Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams and Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe's US debut came in 2009 with The drama The Beautiful Life. The series aired only two episodes before being removed from The CW. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge from February 2011. Madekwe was a regular on the drama series of Revenge on ABC for two seasons. The show was announced in May 2013 that she would leave the series after making one guest appearance on the very first series of the 3rd. In 2014 and 2016, she starred as Tituba on the show Salem. Madekwe got married to her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg in June of 2012. Alongside Secret Diary of a Call Girl They have also collaborated with each other on Salem and Iddo Goldberg had an appearance with her on that show.
Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into an extended family of. Her family included her parents Roy and Patty together with four of their older brothers: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. The brothers of Ashley were extremely athletic and played baseball and hockey in the summer and winter. They grew up playing stadiums and played baseball. Ashley couldn't walk, however she was able to dance. This led to the fact that as she grew older when she was two, she began to learn about Baby Ballet. Ashley became passionate about dance following this. Ashley was a top competitor in divisions in jazz, tap hip-hop, ballet lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics and pointe until she graduated in high school. Ashley won the best soloist honor at each major dance event, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more, just to mention the few.
